INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup Rolled oats
  • ½ cup Nut butter (i.e. peanut, almond, etc.)
  • cup Honey or maple syrup
  • ½ cup Found flaxseed
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 scoop Level-1 protein powder
  • ½ cup Optional: mini chocolate chips or dried fruits

INSTRUCTIONS

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, nut butter, honey (or maple syrup), ground flaxseed, chocolate chips (or dried fruits), vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until the ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Add the protein powder to the mixture and continue mixing until everything is well combined. The mixture should be slightly sticky and hold together.
  • If the mixture is too dry, add a little more honey or nut butter. If it's too wet, add more oats or protein powder.
  • Once the mixture has reached the right consistency, use your hands to form small balls, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter. Roll them between your palms to create smooth balls.
  • Place the protein energy balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a plate and refrigerate them for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
  • Once they are chilled and firm, transfer the protein energy balls to an airtight container and store them in the refrigerator. They should last for about a week.
