Crockpot Chicken Penne
INGREDIENTS
- 16 oz Whole wheat penne
- 15.5 oz Marinara (Rao’s)
- ½ cup Reduced-fat cottage cheese (2% milkfat)
- 1 cup 2% milk
- 2 lb Chicken breast, grilled boneless skinless
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 2 oz Cheddar cheese, shredded
- Garlic powder, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Mix the cottage cheese, milk, Parmesan cheese, and garlic powder in a blender until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into your crockpot, then add the marinara sauce and chicken breasts.
- Cook until the chicken is fully cooked, then shred the chicken in the crockpot.
- While the chicken is cooking, boil water and cook the penne according to the package instructions. Strain the noodles.
